More than just a technique for repairing ceramics, Kintsugi embodies a philosophy: Wabi-Sabi, a celebration of imperfection, transience and the beauty of the traces of time. A true immersion in contemporary Japanese culture. Guided by Ms Mooser's expertise, each participant will have the opportunity to enhance a piece of ceramics, transforming fragility into brilliance. It is also an opportunity to experience a moment of slowness and contemplation while discovering the depth of Japanese art through the various works on display in the gallery. Since 2018, AIFA's mission has been to promote Japanese art beyond its borders, particularly in Switzerland. The art of Kintsugi is a unique example of this: it is not just a technique, but a philosophical approach that invites serenity and reflection.
