Hpgrp Gallery, Kohei Ukai's first solo show in Tokyo after being finalist of the Loewe Fondation Craft competition. The young Contemporary Lacquer from Kanazawa is exhibiting new powerful works, illustrating once again his great talent. Japanese fine art and craft continues to demonstrate strong dynamics and diversity and AIFA is looking forward to soon being able to host Kohei Ukai's works in Verbier, Switzerland.
AIFA presents Surface and Silence at Asia NOW Paris 2025, featuring new works by Japanese artists Kansai Noguchi and Marie Higashi . Through contrasting explorations of clay, glaze, and form, the exhibition reflects on the quiet tension between material depth and meditative stillness.
