Namika Nakai, esteemed artist from Kanazawa’s Utatsuyama Kogei, joins AIFA for what we believe will be a great and fruitful collaboration as her art disserves.



Namika is a young and dynamic ceramist who creates very unique works that carry a great energy, fascinating their viewers. The technique she uses, ultra-high kiln temperatures, produces art pieces that are pure expressions of the matter and its vulnerability towards fire.
