AIFA is thrilled to start exhibiting the great ceramic artist Namika Nakai.
Namika Nakai, esteemed artist from Kanazawa’s Utatsuyama Kogei, joins AIFA for what we believe will be a great and fruitful collaboration as her art disserves.
Namika is a young and dynamic ceramist who creates very unique works that carry a great energy, fascinating their viewers. The technique she uses, ultra-high kiln temperatures, produces art pieces that are pure expressions of the matter and its vulnerability towards fire.
AIFA presents Surface and Silence at Asia NOW Paris 2025, featuring new works by Japanese artists Kansai Noguchi and Marie Higashi . Through contrasting explorations of clay, glaze, and form, the exhibition reflects on the quiet tension between material depth and meditative stillness.
