As a middle school student, Cute Fukuda has been drawn to the world of design, often immersing himself in the creation of intricate architectural blueprints. However, a shift in his aspirations occurred, steering him towards a profound interest in the fine arts. From his university days, he embarked on an artistic journey deeply rooted in traditional Japanese techniques and aesthetics.

As time passed, he evolved, developing a distinctive artistic path, deeply influenced by his personal interests and passions. This evolution has led to the creation of a unique style that now distinctly characterizes his art creations.

His works transcend mere aesthetic appeal; they are crafted to engage viewers on a deeper level, inviting them to relish the joy of uncovering the myriad of fascinating elements each piece holds.

His art delves into the intricate web of human interactions within groups and social circles, exploring the spectrum of emotions they evoke - from feelings of alienation to the ease of connection with certain personalities. His works reflect the intricate dance of positive and negative aspects inherent in human relationships.

He portrays these dynamics from an objective, detached vantage point, capturing the essence of human empathy and the subtle beauty of societal bonds. His art is a call to viewers to re-examine these social intricacies, encouraging them to view these interactions under a new, transformative light. He believes this fresh perspective can be a powerful catalyst for deeper understanding and change.

Cute’s hope is for his audience to forge a connection with the diverse range of characters in his works, from the benevolent to the foreboding, approaching them without preconceived notions. He envisions his exhibition as a mirror, reflecting upon the viewers’ own relationships, fostering a renewed sense of empathy and kindness.

In his artistic process, he primarily employs a palette of acrylics, watercolors, mineral and traditional Japanese pigments. He meticulously adds details with pens, beginning with comprehensive sketches that are later transposed onto the final canvas. His technique is a harmonious blend of detailed planning and artistic spontaneity.
