Follow the Lines!

Follow the Lines! is a duo show that offers a compelling exploration of Japanese contemporary painting through the artistic expressions of Yoichiro Otani and Koga Miura. Both artists skilfully integrate traditional fundamentals with modern technology.

Influenced by the concept of accidental randomness, Koga Miura utilizes a random number generator to determine the components of his compositions. Deliberately incorporating the unpredictable nature of manual painting, Miura’s work highlights the contrast between the calculated precision of technology and the organic variability inherent in human touch.
